Informational website. Most people who have a right to disablitiy benefits and have applied, have their applications denied. This seems to be the standard of our provincial and federal governments. In my honest opinion (webmaster/author), these applications are designed to discourage the applicant from filing and or to ultimately have benefits denied. Then comes the appeal process which is an Internal Review and then if still denied, the Social Benefits Tribunal. This is where a lawyer or paralegal comes in. Legal aid is usually the prime source for low income people to secure a lawyer, but there are other community legal aid support programs around and also the law students at many Universities. In Ontario one such community legal aid program is 211Ontario.ca I have designed this website to help those who will need to appeal their application denial and show them what the COURTS have decided our Human and Constitutional right are.
